Let chopped chicken marinate in citrus juice for at least 30 minutes. The longer the better.
Strain the marinade into a bowl (you will be adding this to your crock pot later). Set your crock pot to high, once warm/hot add your chicken and sprinkle on your arrowroot powder, mix thoroughly.
Add salt (and optional pepper, if you've successfully reintroduced), strained marinade and your honey citrus glaze, stir and let cook on high for 2 hours.
When serving, garnish with green onions.
