Bacon Kraut


AIP Bacon Kraut

  • 1 lb AIP-compliant bacon preferably a smoked, uncured brand, diced
  • 1 large yellow onion diced
  • 1 jar AIP-compliant sauerkraut drained
  1. Dice bacon and toss in skillet. Remove and retain grease.

  2. Dice onion and caramelize in bacon grease. Add sauerkraut. Caramelize until light brown.

  3. Remove from heat and mix in bacon.
