I love sauces and marinades, especially when they’re easy! This one uses Kale, so, it’s just one more way I’m sneaking in nutrient rich foods into my kids’ diet. #winning!
So far, I’ve used this inside stuffed chicken, over a breakfast hash and later today, I plan on thinning some out with some more EVOO and using it for a salad dressing.
Super simple and full of flavor, great accompaniment for meats, sauces, dressings, marinades or drizzled on a hash!
- 2 packed cups Kale I used the already chopped and bagged leaves and stems
- 1/2 cup avocado about half of one
- 6 cloves garlic
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 1/2 cup olive oil you could also use avocado oil
Add all ingredients to a food processor and blend until smooth. Add more salt or lemon juice to desired taste.
